Earlier this week, Quaker Oats has announced that before the end of this year, the Aunt Jemima brand will be retired as they recognize the name and image’s “origins are based on a racial stereotype”.

Uncle Ben's and Mrs. Butterworth's -- two other beloved brands -- announced that they, too, may soon follow. After Quaker and Mars made the announcements, Crayola followed suit firing its skin color crayons.
